Question by SL69: I have been having yeast infection symptoms for the past few months.?
Mainly just vaginal irritation. I have been to the doctor and have been tested for infections and STD’s but all have come back negative. I changed my soap and detergent thinking maybe it was an allergic reaction but that still has not helped. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem or has any suggestions. Thanks.

Best answer:
Answer by love, katie (:yeast infection symptoms include burning when having sex & peeing. soreness & sometimes discharge that looks like cottage cheese. it’s odorless.
not all these symptoms may be present for you so the best way to be positive it’s a yeast infection & not something more serious is to have your doctor take a sample of it & check it out.

Question by rebecca: Are these the symptoms of a yeast infection?
I wiped today and there was a thick yellow mucus-like discharge. I’ve never had something like this before. However, it does not itch. So I’m wondering if this is a yeast infection or not?

Question by Katie: Is it possible to have a yeast infection for years?
I have what I think to be a yeast infection, I have tried both a tablet and a pill taken orally to rid myself of this. It has gotten a lot better, but is still not completely gone. Could this be a really bad yeast infection? Thinking back I remember about two years ago having yeast infection symptoms, and feel I may have been ignoring them for these two years until they got unbearable this year. Is this possible and would it make my yeast infection harder to get rid of?
Best answer:
Answer by elpiYou need to see a gynecologist; Two years is too long to suffer.
God bless.

Question by Kaitlyn: Can yeast infection symptoms come and go?
i mean without any kind of treatment
Best answer:
Answer by Casey JaneYes. Since yeast infections can come and go. If you are having problems with repeated yeast infections then I would go to the Gynecologist and try to find a better solution!
EDIT: Yes, without any kind of treatment, as AM stated you can have a yeast infection and not even know it. The symptons can flare up or die down but you will still have the infection. Best to get it treated though!
