I burnt my tongue and after wards ate sunflower seeds. All the salt stung my tongue but I kept eating them, then my tongue turned white. Im scared because they said thrush is when your tongue is white and people who are HIV positive get thrush. I don’t have any symptoms, my throat isn’t sore, I don’t have a fever or anything. My tongue is just white and annoying to look at. Plus I used a tongue scraper and now it hurts. I just want to get rid of this white stuff on my tongue. Its been there for about 3 weeks now. Im praying I don’t have a std, its just severely burnt. Either way, I need help on what to do. What do I take to make it go away? Im scared… please help.
thanks thats helpful because i did use an asthma inhaler, and I dont have patches or sores in my mouth. my tongue is just white and it wont go away which was making me kind of nervous.

I have a son who is 3 weeks and 5 days. 2 days ago he was diagnosed with thrush, He had all the symptoms, white patches in mouth, fussy, specially during a feeding. He started the medication yesterday so all together he has had it 7 times. My question is how long does it take for my son to have relief he is still very fussy and is only drinking about an oz at feedings and screams until he falls asleep again.

Answer by Brandi HWhen my daughter had thrush it took about 3 days to go away, she wasn’t in any pain but just make sure you boil everything(pacifiers, bottles, nipples, etc.) for about 20 minutes.

was urine tract infections, the gp always gave me antibiotics, done the trick but came back within 5-6 wks, but i have noticed lately i have a a slight smell off fish down below any ideas ? I have also been to the GUM clinic and been checked there all clear thankgod

Answer by LilithIt sounds like it could be a yeast infection or the PH balance in your vagina may be off. You can try an over the counter yeast infection medicine to see if that helps, if you’re not have discharge or itching with the smell however I doubt yeast is the issue.

They have PH balancing gels out now, I’ve heard of adding white vinegar to bath water as well helps with the PH balance.

its been 10 days since i’ve experiencing constant burning in my vagina and a white coloured thick n watery discharge. I went to a general practictioner after two days from when this started and he told me that it could be a urinary tract infection.
