Question by Jimmy J: Candida diet had made my tongue worse! (white tongue problem)?
I have been strictly on the diet for over a month and today when i looked at my tongue it was even worse! I have been having disgusting food and having to eat eggs most days, just for it to be even more white. It was getting better before though and i don’t feel sick often anymore. But, what’s happened?
Just thought i would say, scraping, brushing and salting my tongue doesn’t get rid of it.
If i go to the doctor and not mention the candida, would he sort out my tongue for me?

Answer by mystacallyou have thrush..you need an antibiotic…to get rid of it..you can try yogurt organic with no fruit..put it on your tongue but you will prob need antibiotic..I had it and it was gone in 2 days.

Question by Jessica M: Is thrush just when your tongue is white and no symptoms? I think I might have thrush but im not sure, help!?
I burnt my tongue and after wards ate sunflower seeds. All the salt stung my tongue but I kept eating them, then my tongue turned white. Im scared because they said thrush is when your tongue is white and people who are HIV positive get thrush. I don’t have any symptoms, my throat isn’t sore, I don’t have a fever or anything. My tongue is just white and annoying to look at. Plus I used a tongue scraper and now it hurts. I just want to get rid of this white stuff on my tongue. Its been there for about 3 weeks now. Im praying I don’t have a std, its just severely burnt. Either way, I need help on what to do. What do I take to make it go away? Im scared… please help.
thanks thats helpful because i did use an asthma inhaler, and I dont have patches or sores in my mouth. my tongue is just white and it wont go away which was making me kind of nervous.

Question by dreamone78: What dietary changes can I make to get rid of my white tongue?
I have that gross white film on my tongue and I know I don’t have a weakened immune system and I have been told that it could possibly be a candida overgrowth in my tummy showing up. I brush my tongue with my toothbrush and have used a tongue scraper before but it always comes back. Is there anything I can eat (or not eat) or vitamins I can take to stop this? My christmas wish is to have a nice pink healthy tongue!

Question by e f: I was on antibiotics for a week and got a white tongue. Will it go away by itself? Do I need to do something?
recently got my wisdom teeth all removed and was put on antibiotics for 1 week. During this time, my tongue developed some whiteness on it. Researching from the internet, it appears to be fungus called Candida. It has now been 5 days off antibiotics. It has improved a little but not fully gone yet. I am wondering if it will disappear on its own (if so, how long), and/or if I can buy something from the drug store (or natural remedy) that will get rid of the white tongue.

The only problem with that is that it reeks of cloves and garlic, but it does kill off Candida with no die-off effects. How do I get rid of the white stuff on my tongue.. I tried brushing it and using a tongue cleaner , it didn’t work. How can I get rid of it? What are some home remedies? Or doctor options?
I also have athletes foot, it’s not too bad but a little red on foot soles, what can I do to get rid if it?

I have a vaginal yeast infection and I have a medical prescription for it, but I recently noticed around six small circular bumps on my tongue, is this thrush or regualar symptoms that accompany a vaginal yeast infection.
