Candida vegetarian diet question?

Question by Drewbaby from the Dangerous Crew: Candida vegetarian diet question?
I am a vegetarian, and I am supposed to have meat for the Candida diet. I’m obviously not going to eat meat. I am not supposed to have any sugar at ALL, in order to kill the yeast overgrowth. What can I replace the meat with for protein? I am eating a lot of beans and brown rice. I don’t know if beans or brown rice will turn into sugar. Any help would be great, especially if you know about intestinal yeast overgrowth (Candida) diet.

Question about yeast infection/warning on the box. Many symptoms, TMI?

Question by Mr & Mrs G: Question about yeast infection/warning on the box. Many symptoms, TMI?
Ok, so I think i have a yeast infection…yuck. Its not my first, I think I get them alot but I don’t know what alot is. Anyway, on the box it says;

“Ask a docor before use if you have lower abdominal, back, or shoulder pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomitting, or foul-smelling discharge.”

Why does it say that? What are those signs of? I have all the symptoms of yeast infection (white discharge, itching, and painful sex) and also most of the above symptoms (Bad pain in lower abdomin, SEVERE shoulder pain, back pain, nausea and vomitting almost daily for 2-3 months, foul odor) I tohught they weren’t even related, I would have never thought they were related! Especially since the other symptoms have been going on for a few months and the yeast infection symptoms have only been a week or 2. Whats going on?
Oh, and the medicine I got is OTC Monistat 3 suppositories. I don’t have medical insurance right now but I am a little worried because I have been trying to get pregnant for years and I haven’t had a period since may 1st, . . . → Read More: Question about yeast infection/warning on the box. Vaginal yeast infection question: I had 3 outbreaks recently following intercourse. What may be causing them?

Question by betta: Vaginal yeast infection question: I had 3 outbreaks recently following intercourse. What may be causing them?
I started seeing a man recently. We had intercourse on 5 seperate occasions over the last two months and on 3 of those I developed vaginal yeast infections a couple of days after the intercourse. Could it be related to some type of STD?

I have not been sexually active before this partner for about a year. Before that I have had yeast infections on a couple of occasions but not back to back like this. I am very concerned.

Question about thrush infection and symptoms?

Question by a woman: Question about thrush infection and symptoms?
my pap smear test came back clear except that it identified that I have thrush. The thing is I havn’t noticed any symptoms apart from a bit of a smell recently. When my doctor was taking the test, it hurt me and she told me my cervix was inflamed. This seems to have caused the discomfort. I thought that with thrush, there was always an itch? Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

Detox/Colon Cleanse/Candida Question?

Question by kitty99026: Detox/Colon Cleanse/Candida Question?
I’m exercising doing Insanity workouts, & eating healthy, more fruits & vegetables as well as taking greens powder and a good natural multivitamin daily, I’m also taking psyllium husks, & aloe vera, to clean my colon. (for about a week) How long will it take to detox, or be toxin free, I’m 25 and have had Candida for a few years. I’m also starting a candida diet (again) & natural anti candida remedies: coconut oil, garlic, oregon oil, etc.
(I sweat a lot when I workout & drink plenty of water)
