Question by : I’m a male and I think that I’m getting thrush from my partner on a regular basis is that possible?
They say men don’t get thrush, but we were tested for other sti’s and all were negative. But as soon she completes her treatment weeks later after sex it just seems to return. I jet a itch and stains in my underwear in the morning and also notice a little rash. Like I’ve said we keep getting checked for sti’s but nothing.

Question by Katie: Is it possible to have a yeast infection for years?
I have what I think to be a yeast infection, I have tried both a tablet and a pill taken orally to rid myself of this. It has gotten a lot better, but is still not completely gone. Could this be a really bad yeast infection? Thinking back I remember about two years ago having yeast infection symptoms, and feel I may have been ignoring them for these two years until they got unbearable this year. Is this possible and would it make my yeast infection harder to get rid of?
Best answer:
Answer by elpiYou need to see a gynecologist; Two years is too long to suffer.
God bless.

Question by Good: Is it possible I have candida?
“Other common Candida symptoms in males that don’t fall under an actual disorder label may consist of irritability, cognitive difficulties, depression, inability to concentrate, fatigue, restlessness, anxiety, forgetfulness, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, frequent stomach aches, indigestion, heartburn, excessive shyness or feelings of being self-conscious, rashes and many more.”
Of those I have irritability, cognitive difficulties, depression, inability to concentrate, anxiety, excessive shyness and self consciousness.
I also have a lot of autism like symptoms which can be caused by Candida.
I just ate an English muffin and directly after eating it I felt a little “high”. Is this how people with Candida respond to starchy foods?
Best answer:
Answer by Mad MacCandida albicans is a natural yeast organism that is always present in the digestive tract. It can become an over growth in the body due to excessive sugar intake, anti-biotics etc. In this case it has a wide variety of symptoms.
The first thing for you to do is consult a GP physician to find out if you have an overgrowth of this naturally occurring organism. The symptoms you mentioned can be due to other reasons. Your doctor may be able to focus on the reasons for the symptoms . . . → Read More: Is it possible I have candida?

Question by nancyclarissa1970: What can I do to get rid of possible candida overgrowth?
I just read about candida (yeast) overgrowth in the digestive system and I think I might be suffering from it. I suffer from chronic fatigue, I am super moody, and also have a lot of muscle aches. My question is, what is the first step to take care of this? I cannot go to the doctor because I have no insurance, so I would like to take care of this on my own. What should I do first? What diet should I be on? I plan on taking probiotics once I have conquered the overgrowth, but what should I take first? What was your experience with it? Thanks!
Best answer:
Answer by Sarah9847First, know that the symptoms of candida are very similar to other conditions such as low thyroid, etc. Even though you don’t have insurance I would encourage you to at least get a basic check up and blood test with your Dr. just in case its something that needs medical attention. Or at least so you have an idea of what you need to be doing and are not just stumbling around in the dark.

Question by Jibbs: Is it possible to transmit Candida infection to someone else by putting something in their food?
Because I had this insane crazy roommate and right when things blew up between the two of us, I began getting symptoms, digestive, etc. It turns out I have candida yeast infection. Is it possible that he put something in my food, and if so, how would it be? spitting into it? putting something else in it? please, this is weighing heavily on my mind.
Best answer:
Answer by ChemistMay be. But why he/she will do it. If you think of your bad relation with that person, avoid them.
If it is not possible to change the room, try to make good relation with him/her. This is a very critical situation.

Question by mimi: Is it possible to have a yeast infection without any symptoms?
I haven’t had any symptoms or problems, but I went to the gyno for a routine check up and they told me my test results came back positive for a yeast infection. When I was at the doc’s she did say my cervix was sensitive and there may have been an infection… so it makes sense. I just find it odd that I have had no symptoms. Is this normal?
Best answer:
Answer by Brutally HonestI had this happen once a very long time ago.
While the most COMMON symptoms include itching, burning and clumpy discharge, you can have any of these or none of them (or others not listed).
If your doctor gave you meds to treat the infection definitely follow the course of treatment. If you’re not suffering, why NOT prevent the possibility??
