Question by Sarah: Can my breastfeeding son have thrush without me getting it?
I sometimes notice white stuff on his tongue. I’m assuming it’s either leftover milk or that he’s got thrush. It gets lighter, but I can’t tell if it ever completely goes away. But I have no symptoms, & I’ve had it before with my daughter, so I know what it feels like. But sometimes I notice the whiteness quite a while after he’s nursed. Do I need to try to get him to take a drink of water to rinse his mouth to prevent thrush, if the milk is staying in his mouth that long? That’s what my daughter’s ped. recommended, but she was quite a bit older (maybe 8 or 9 months?) while my son is only 3 weeks old. Ideas?

Answer by September SweetieYou need to take your baby to the pediatrician. He’s getting the thrush from your nipples when he’s breastfeeding. I’m not trying to be rude here….he’s getting thrush from you not washing your nipples and breasts good enough after each feeding. To get rid of thrush….he needs to get medicine prescribed by his pediatrician.

Question by : I’m a male and I think that I’m getting thrush from my partner on a regular basis is that possible?
They say men don’t get thrush, but we were tested for other sti’s and all were negative. But as soon she completes her treatment weeks later after sex it just seems to return. I jet a itch and stains in my underwear in the morning and also notice a little rash. Like I’ve said we keep getting checked for sti’s but nothing.

Since I was little I always had a problem focusing. I ate a lot of sugars and for some odd reason crave for it. I acted hyperactive,irritated,and OCD. I could never taste anything for some odd reason and felt like there was a cotton ball in my mouth. I also felt fatigued most of the time. I had brain fog I can barely even hear myself think and I always dream and dream non-stop about things and forget. Never ever liked anything except something that had sugar in it. Now I am 16 and those symptoms seem to get worse now I act aggressive, have headaches, OCD got really bad to where I have to think of it non-stop,barely even eat unless it is sugar or some sort of sugar, forget everything, and now instead of feeling fatigued I feel really really hyper, and insomnia.
