I have done 3 days so far of water fasting in an effort to get rid of this. How long should this last?
I meant water fast as in a fast where I only drink water, not as in a fast where I do everything but drink water, sorry for the confusion!

That is not an effective treatment for candida.
Your time would have been better spent, doing a web-search for natural cures/treatments against candida.
Drinking water helps people to flush out waste, and toxins out of the body.
Not drinking water for 3 days will only get YOU dehydrated!
Whoever suggested that you do that, was/is an idiot.
Sorry for not realizing that. But on this board, all kinds of crazy things show up, so we start expecting to read the un-thinkable.

I have that gross white film on my tongue and I know I don’t have a weakened immune system and I have been told that it could possibly be a candida overgrowth in my tummy showing up. I brush my tongue with my toothbrush and have used a tongue scraper before but it always comes back. Is there anything I can eat (or not eat) or vitamins I can take to stop this? My christmas wish is to have a nice pink healthy tongue!

Question by unknown353535: Will eradicating H.Pylori also eliminate SIBO?
I was tested positive for H.Pylori recently and put on a triple therapy regime (Hp- Pac) for two weeks which I completed.
However I was wondering whether such a strong antibiotic therapy treatment can also get rid of SIBO or Candida for that matter ? Just in the event I was infested with that as well.

First… if you’re going to say candida isn’t real, I really don’t give a shit. Call it whatever you want.. what I am experiencing IS REAL so stop telling me every time I ask a question about it that it’s not.
Anyways.. I have been following the anti candida diet and have felt a lot better than before. But still.. even when I eat just breads (gluten free too) or carbs I still start feeling tired and just run down.
I don’t really know what to do… should I just stick to eating proteins and vegetables? And like small amounts of fats? I had been taking a probiotic but it just sucked and made my problems worse. Like the probiotic I was using before helped, but then I got a different one and it doesn’t seem to do anything.. or even makes it worse.
So what should I do exactly? And how can I get enough calories in if I start eating very low carb?

I have chronic bad breath with a white coating on my tongue that will not come off when I scrape it. I’ve had this problem for about 10 years but never knew anything about Candida. This morning when I woke up, I did a spit test and my spit was a bit stringy. Does this automatically mean that I have Candida? I don’t really seem to have any other problems but this bad breath will not go away and I know it’s not due to oral health because my mouth is in great condition.
Should I go to the doctor? Could he prescribe me something to get rid of the yeast? Or do I need to follow a strict anti-Candida diet? Do you think going on this diet would help with my breath?
I’ve already cut out dairy and any food items with dairy in it. I’m still eating meat…chicken, beef, etc.

I am an 18 year old male. I am very active and eat all organic, all fresh food–very healthy eater.
I have very bad breath though. I have tried many things to rid myself of this. I have tried supplements, a Heel Body Detox Supplement, and I have rid my body of Candida…all to no avail. I have tried Chlorophyll Complex, and that has worked, but I do not want to be dependent on a supplement for clean breath.
The breath smells stale, gross, and strange–not necesarily like typical ‘bad breath.’ It is very bad in the morning and an hour after I eat. It is especially bad the morning after/day after I have been drinking alcohol.
I have been battling this for years and spent a lot of money trying to fix it, and it is getting unbearable. I need to do something now!
