Question by eric79: Is this a cause of Burning Mouth Syndrome?
I recently finished up a 5 day treatment of Kenalog in Orabase on my tongue, I stopped two days ago, but since then I have been experiencing Burning Tongue,Roof of Mouth and sometimes lips. This fits the characteristics of BMS since I usually wake up with no pain and it comes in spurts throughout the day.
I have tested negative for Thrush and Candidas and I am an otherwise healthy 28 year old male.
If this is BMS brought on by the medicine, how long should I expect it to last?

Answer by correrafanI once heard that allergy to fluoride in toothpaste can do that to your mouth. Since all toothpastes seem to contain fluoride, I guess you’ll have to brush with salt or start looking for plain organic toothpastes.

Answer by Freedom USA FighterAs for Pro-Biotic….there is NOTHING better than a good quality “Acidophilus.” Every Pro-Biotic prodict will have some form of Acidophilus in it. Your best bet is to buy a concentrated form, in the liquid. Make sure its refrigerated when you purchase it…if its not…the products is dead…literally….it needs to be refrigerated in order to keep the bacteria healthy.

Question by 2scoops: Candida and Parasites?
I having a lot of intestinal discomfort. I have been nauseasous for months now and have been ov diflucan and nystatin. I took a stoll sample Friday to get checked for parasires, and am awaiting the results. What is are good treatments? Has anyone tried Para-Gone by Renew Life? I am tied all the time, feeling lethargic, depressed, hardly eat, I’ve lost 15 lbs in a month. Please help!

About a year ago i started with all sorts of symptoms, my dr.gave me a test and said it was h.pylori he gave me a prevpac(antibiotics)triple therapy but i have a lot of sensativity issues with antibiotics, oral thrush, vaginal infections so stopped taking them, changed my whole lifestyle of eating, no more cokes,white flour, some symptoms disappeared but then i started getting like hives anywhere all of a sudden, specially with meat, so im down like 15 lbs. can o nly eat vegetables, salads, brocoli,some fruit no sugars at all so im trying to research a more natural way of healing my body but ive been getting contradicting info, candida, fibromyalgia, h.pylori, tape worms, my god, im going crazy, what good are these doctors for then?all of the above sort of have the same symptoms, where do I start?

Question by Me: Do you or anyone you know suffer from candida?
I think I may have it. I have every symptom and have been unsuccessfully battled these symptoms for years. They only get worst. The doctors basically laugh me out of their offices. One, after running several inconclusive tests, said that Im making my self sick because Im so worried that I have this health issue. So I want to know what you know about it and if you could give me advice on where to start treatment!
Ok, Im not an idiot! As for the comments about the “normal yeast infection” and “vagisil,” pls dont answer this question if you do not know what I am reffering to! There is a disease where comprimised immune systems suffer from an overgrowth of yeast in the entire body and the over the counter stuff is not strong enough. It calls for very stron prescription meds. This disease is so uncommon that most dr.s are not educated enough about it to help me. So, thats why I am on answers.com!!!

Question by Miriam I: HELP! i had itching and vaginal discharge and persistent cough. i did not take treatment for three months.?
Later went to a doctor, took a test I was given peflotab then erythromycin for strep and cipro for the vaginitis (STAPH). This didnt work either. I went to another doctor who prescribed Secindazole tablets and ofloxacin for two weeks for the vaginitis and it improved, but started a week later. I did another test and i was told i had candida, no staph found. I was given Augmentin for the cough and metronidazole for the candida. The cough got cured but the candida persisted. I was then given fluconazole twice and clotrimazole vaginal cream, but the stubborn candida still stayed, i was given miconazole vaginal cream last week and still, no soap! Im going crazy about this! Can someone out there please help?
