Candida Diet Fast Food

Candida Diet Fast Food

Article by Matthew Bredel

Although diet and the fast food restaurant do not commonly go hand in hand, many quick food joints are providing options for the diner who seeks healthier fare. Even a person trying to follow the candida diet can enjoy a fast food meal by avoiding sugars and starches and going for the vegetables and proteins listed on the menu.

Of course, in a perfect world, one would always have time for a nice, home cooked meal with plenty of fresh ingredients and whole foods. But reality is that fast food restaurants come in very handy on days when you are on the go or simply don’t have the time, energy or desire to slave in the kitchen.

Fast food restaurants often get a bad rap, but just like the grocery store, most of these restaurants offer both healthy and less-than-healthy options. It is the individual’s responsibility to make the right choices, and there are plenty of meal possibilities to keep the candida dieter on track.

The best game plan when considering a fast food meal is to decide which restaurant provides the healthiest options. Pulling up menus online is a simple way to check out menu and . . . → Read More: Candida Diet Fast Food

Avoiding Memory Loss

With millions of people being diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease annually and the cases of Dementia rising constantly we all need to be aware of the simple things we can do to protect ourselves from the ravages of these diseases.

Processed food and food preservatives may well be the most vicious toxins human beings face today because they are so prevalent in our diet.  Although they are present in “acceptable” levels according to the FDA, they build up in our bodies over long periods of time and adversely effect our health in many ways.

“The human body is a well crafted piece of machinery. At the cellular level, there are a number of inter reactions that happen each day with the body’s immune system prepared for all eventualities. But when we introduce outside chemicals into the body, the natural defenses do not know how to react and that results in the body either absorbing these foreign substances or causing illness and breakdown of the organs. Studies have shown that a number of diseases that are occurring in humans such as Chronic fatigue syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and acid stomach are because of the chemical food intake.  “.

Bacterial Vaginosis: Bacterial Vaginosis Home Remedies

What is bacterial vaginosis?

Although most women are ignorant about bacterial vaginosis, statistics show that 1 in every 3 women have suffered or are currently suffering from this disease. So what is bacterial vaginosis? This is a condition, which is caused by infection of the vagina by a bacterium known as Candida. It causes some mild inflammation in the vagina as well as some discharges. However both these symptoms are mild in most women. The most notable symptom is the foul smell in the vaginal that smells like a fish or even worse. Sometimes you may experience some itchy sensation.

What causes bacterial vaginosis?

This is not a sexually transmitted disease, STD but it worsens if the infected person is sexually active. It is caused by an imbalance of the good and bad bacteria, which are present in any healthy vagina. The cause of the imbalance is not known though it occurs when there is a reduction in the number of the hydrogen producing lactobacilli bacteria in the vagina. It may also result due to a high concentration of anaerobic bacteria, which thrive where there is no oxygen. 6 Step Recipe for Candida Diet

6 Step Recipe for Candida Diet

Article by Graham Forbes

You can eliminate Candida overgrowth from your system! Just follow these simple steps. 1. Decide You Need a Yeast Free Diet

If you suspect that you have any of the symptoms of Candidiasis, a yeast overgrowth in your digestive system, then you need an anti Candida diet. The most common telltale signs are recurring bloating and abdominal pain, as well as itching in the genital area, as well as other warm, moist areas.

2. Understand What Is Happening.

Candidiasis is the result of an overgrowth of the Candida Albicans yeast fungus in your digestive system. This is generally the result of an imbalance occurring in the system due to ill health, stress, or poor diet. Candida is normally found in the body, and is usually kept in check by other beneficial bacteria, so the natural balance needs to be restored by a change of diet.

3. Commit to Eliminating Some Foods From Your Diet.

Your body needs time-out from foods that are feeding the yeast in your system. For awhile you will need to eliminate foods such as, cheese, mushrooms, dried smoked or cured meats, peanuts and pistachios. Yeast containing foods such as bread, . . . → Read More: 6 Step Recipe for Candida Diet

I’m on an anti-candida diet. Are these two supplements ok to take together?

Question by instantstarluvr22: I’m on an anti-candida diet. Are these two supplements ok to take together?
I’m taking B12 because I’m eating no dairy, as well as Acidophilus. Is it okay to take these two together?

Best answer:

Answer by SkepDoc 2.0sure. it’s also ok not to take either of them
True systemic candidiasis is a severe and life threatening infection that may occur in very ill people, or those with immune dysfunction, such as HIV/AIDS

“Altie Candidiasis” is a pseudo-disease, and therefore all treatments of it are non-treatments. It is particularly trendy with Naturopaths and almost everyone ever seen by a naturopath gets diagnosed with some sort of food intolerance or candida. Conveniently, the naturopath usually has a lot of products to sell you to deal with that.

Candida diet calls for simple and natural food as opposed to processed food that you may be used to. This may sound boring but contrary to that, it can be very interesting. All it takes is willingness to explore and be creative.

To start with, just know that a few ingredients and food must be avoided in a candida diet – items made from yeast, vinegar, moldy stuff like cheese, canned food, fermented stuff (including beer, alcohol) and sugar as well as food containing high level of sugar like grapes, figs and dates.

Instead of that, eat more vegetables – spinach, baby kailan, brocolli, asparagus, bean sprouts, lettuce, beetroot, capsicum, long beans, lady’s fingers, there are so many to choose from. Two methods recommended for maintaining as much nutrients as possible are: steaming and stir frying.

Together with vegetables, have moderate protein and some complex carbohydrate.

Candida Diet & Post Nasal Drip?

Question by RedDevyl: Candida Diet & Post Nasal Drip?
Does anyone know if the Candida Diet can help stop post nasal drip (PND) or chronic sinus infections? My doc has a theory that my PND may be related to yeast in my body since the only time my PND stopped was when I was on Flagyl for a yeast infection. So she put me on the diet but I’ve yet to find any research saying the diet helps PND specifically.

Best answer:

Answer by huggzI have never heard the theory in many years of nursing, but it wont hurt to try it…good luck

Impossible Candida diet! Is it a scam?

Question by * Sheree Bee*: Impossible Candida diet! Is it a scam?
I was thinking of trying the candida diet, as i have had problems with confusion, feeling spaced out, amongst other things, and internet research led me to believe this could be the problem. I was on antibiotics at 15 for acne and at 16 was put on the pill, now been on it for 6 years.

I am vegetarian and eat a diet which includes my 5 a day, but also often pasta and potatoes. I love cereal and dairy products, and I am partial to a little bit of choccy too!!

The candida diet seems almost impossible to me, EVERYTHING I eat, even healthy living vegetable soup, milk, and bloody rise krispies have sugar! I can’t cut everything out of my diet or i’ll be very unhealthy and unhappy!!

Is this whole candida overgrowth thing a total scam? I know doctors don’t really recognise it, and most of the Anti-Candida websites just seem to be sales-driven!!

What’s your opinion?? My dad says so long as I eat a healthy varied diet I have nothing to worry about, but i was still thinking of taking acidophillus (sp?) tablets just to boost my friendly . . . → Read More: Impossible Candida diet! Is it a scam?
